Properties

BlendMode

Gets or sets the blend mode of the layer.

Metadata

Gets access to the metadata that is stored in the layer. This is distinct from the document-level metadata.

Name

Gets or sets the name of the layer. If not set, a default name will be assigned (e.g. "Background", "Layer 2", etc.).

Opacity

Gets the opacity of the layer. The range is [0, 1], where 0 is fully transparent (effectively invisible) and 1 is fully opaque. This value is used to modulate the alpha values for pixels in the layer.

Visible

Gets or sets a flag indicating whether the layer is visible or not.
