SceneReferredSdrWhiteLevelNits

The luminance, in nits (cd/m²), that the source's linear 1.0 value represents — i.e. the scene-referred reference used to interpret the floating-point pixel values as absolute luminance. Defaults to the scRGB scene-referred SDR white level (SceneReferredSdrWhiteLevel, 80 nits), which is the convention produced by the PQ/HLG decode kernels, so most callers leave it at the default.

float SceneReferredSdrWhiteLevelNits { get; }

Property Value

float

Remarks

This is an interpretation of the float encoding, not a per-image mastering value. In particular it is not the HDR diffuse/paper-white (BT.2408 reference white, 203 nits) and does not correspond to a CTA-861.3 / SMPTE ST 2086 metadata field.
