Contrast

Specifies how steeply the line width responds to tone around mid grey. The range is [0.25, 4] and the default value is 1, which is an identity.

Remarks

The ink demand starts as 1 - lightness and is pushed away from, or pulled toward, 0.5 by this factor before Gamma shapes it; see Gamma for the whole curve.
