Specifies the shape of the tiles the Mosaic effect lays down.

public enum PdnMosaicTileShape

Fields

Square = 0

Square tiles on an axis-aligned grid, laid out like bathroom tile.

Rhombus = 1

Diamonds: squares turned forty-five degrees, on a grid rotated to match, so every seam runs on the diagonal.

Triangle = 2

Equilateral triangles, alternating point-up and point-down.

Hexagon = 3

Regular hexagons with vertical left and right sides on the triangular lattice that packs them.

OctagonSquare = 4

The truncated-square tiling: regular octagons with a small diamond filling each four-way gap.

Cairo = 5

The Cairo pentagonal tiling: basket-weave pentagons in four orientations, as paved in the streets of Cairo.

SnubSquare = 6

The snub square tiling: squares in two orientations with pairs of equilateral triangles filling the gaps between them.

Brick = 7

A running-bond brick wall: rectangles twice as wide as tall, each row offset half a brick.

Herringbone = 8

A herringbone weave of two-by-one bricks, each perpendicular to its neighbors and stepping along the diagonal.

Basketweave = 9

A basketweave: pairs of two-by-one bricks, a horizontal pair alternating with a vertical pair.

FishScale = 10

Overlapping rows of scallops, like fish scales or roof shingles.

Polar = 11

Concentric rings of sectors around the anchor point, like amphitheater seating.

Ashlar = 12

Ashlar masonry: courses of stones of random lengths, like a coursed stone wall. The seed picks the coursing.

Pythagorean = 13

The Pythagorean tiling: interlocking squares of two sizes, one twice the side of the other.

Versailles = 14

The Versailles pattern, known in some regions as the French pattern: tiles in four sizes laid into a repeating module, arranged so that no two seams line up into a long run.

Mondrian = 15

Rectangles of mixed sizes from recursive subdivision, like a Mondrian canvas. The seed picks the subdivision.

Tetromino = 16

The seven tetromino pieces, randomly packed with no gaps. The seed picks the packing.

Pentomino = 17

Pentominoes packed tightly together with no gaps. The seed picks the packing.

Rhombille = 18

The rhombille tiling: 60/120-degree rhombi in three orientations, three meeting around alternate vertices, reading as the tumbling-blocks pattern of stacked cubes.

Cobblestone = 19

Rounded stones of slightly uneven shapes and sizes, like a cobbled pavement. The seed lays the stones.

Penrose = 20

The Penrose tiling: thick and thin rhombi in an aperiodic pattern with fivefold symmetry that never repeats. The seed picks the tiling.
