Properties

ContentMaxLuminanceNits

The maximum content luminance of the image, in nits (cd/m²), if known — for example the MaxCLL value from an AVIF's clli box (CTA-861.3 content light level information). It is used as the roll-off knee when tone-mapping: content at this level maps to SDR white. When null, the value is unknown and the image is scanned to measure it instead.

IsHdrDocument

Specifies whether the IFileTypeDocument is HDR (true) or SDR (false).

SceneReferredSdrWhiteLevelNits

The luminance, in nits (cd/m²), that the source's linear 1.0 value represents — i.e. the scene-referred reference used to interpret the floating-point pixel values as absolute luminance. Defaults to the scRGB scene-referred SDR white level (SceneReferredSdrWhiteLevel, 80 nits), which is the convention produced by the PQ/HLG decode kernels, so most callers leave it at the default.

Methods

Clone()

Creates a mutable copy of the HDR metadata.
