Enum JpegXROverlapProcessingOption

Namespace
PaintDotNet.Imaging
Assembly
PaintDotNet.Windows.dll

Sets the level of overlap filtering. With overlap filtering, transform coefficients are applied across block and macroblock boundaries. This can reduce blocking artifacts.

public enum JpegXROverlapProcessingOption

Fields

None = 0

No overlap processing is enabled.

OneLevelSoftTiling = 1

One level of overlap, soft tiling. The encoded values of 4x4 blocks are modified based on neighboring blocks. Overlap filtering is applied across tile boundaries.

This is the default value.

TwoLevelsSoftTiling = 2

Two levels of overlap. The first level of overlap is applied. In addition, the encoded values of 16x16 macroblocks are modified based on the neighboring macroblocks. Overlap filtering is applied across tile boundaries.

OneLevelHardTiling = 3

One level of overlap, soft tiling. The encoded values of 4x4 blocks are modified based on neighboring blocks. Overlap filtering is not applied across tile boundaries. Hard tiles can introduce some visual artifacts along tile boundaries.

TwoLevelsHardTiling = 4

Two levels of overlap. The first level of overlap is applied. In addition, the encoded values of 16x16 macroblocks are modified based on the neighboring macroblocks. Overlap filtering is not applied across tile boundaries. Hard tiles can introduce some visual artifacts along tile boundaries.
