Enum CicpTransferCharacteristics
- Namespace
- PaintDotNet.Imaging
- Assembly
- PaintDotNet.Windows.Core.dll
Identifies the opto-electronic / electro-optical transfer characteristic (the "gamma" or EOTF) of the source. These are the "TransferCharacteristics" code points defined by ITU-T H.273 (Table 3) and used by the PNG cICP chunk.
public enum CicpTransferCharacteristics : byte
Fields
Bt709 = 1Rec. ITU-R BT.709-6. (Functionally identical to Bt601, Bt2020TenBit, and Bt2020TwelveBit.)
Unspecified = 2Unspecified. The transfer characteristic is determined by the application or by other means.
Gamma22 = 4Rec. ITU-R BT.470-6 System M (historical); assumed display gamma of 2.2.
Gamma28 = 5Rec. ITU-R BT.470-6 System B, G (historical); assumed display gamma of 2.8.
Bt601 = 6Rec. ITU-R BT.601-7 525 or 625; BT.1358; BT.1700; SMPTE ST 170.
Smpte240M = 7SMPTE ST 240 (historical).
Linear = 8Linear transfer characteristics.
Log100 = 9Logarithmic transfer characteristic (100:1 range).
Log100Sqrt10 = 10Logarithmic transfer characteristic (100 * Sqrt(10) : 1 range).
Iec6196624 = 11IEC 61966-2-4 (xvYCC).
Bt1361 = 12Rec. ITU-R BT.1361-0 extended colour gamut system (historical).
Srgb = 13IEC 61966-2-1 (sRGB or sYCC).
Bt2020TenBit = 14Rec. ITU-R BT.2020-2 for a system using 10-bit precision. (Same function as Bt709.)
Bt2020TwelveBit = 15Rec. ITU-R BT.2020-2 for a system using 12-bit precision. (Same function as Bt709.)
SmpteSt2084PQ = 16SMPTE ST 2084 for 10-, 12-, 14-, and 16-bit systems; Rec. ITU-R BT.2100-2 perceptual quantization (PQ).
SmpteSt428 = 17SMPTE ST 428-1.
AribStdB67Hlg = 18ARIB STD-B67; Rec. ITU-R BT.2100-2 hybrid log-gamma (HLG).
Remarks
The underlying type is byte to match the 8-bit code point in the cICP chunk. Only the values defined by H.273 are named here; reserved and unassigned values (0, 3, and 19–255) are intentionally not enumerated, but still round-trip faithfully because the storage type is a raw byte.
